The process of app publication to Play Store has some difference. Hoverer you still need to learn carefully Privacy Policy rules. Here’s a step-by-step detailed plan to help you publish your app to the Google Play Market:
Step 1: Prepare content beforehand
Prepare information and content for the app page: app name, app description (short and full), screenshots(2-8 phone screenshots, in PNG or JPEG format, up to 8 MB each, at minimum of 1080px on each side), keywords, app icon, Privacy policy and terms of use documentation. ClubKit team will send you your app build and app signing key.
Step 2: Create your Google Play Console account
Sign up for Google Play Console: Google Play Console is a Control Center for Android developers where you can download and manage your apps. Sign up for the Google Play Console and follow the instructions to add your app.
You can register as an organisation or as a private developer (yourself). Select the second option and be ready to provide: an email address for your developer profile, contact phone number and email address for Google, a form of payment (to pay the one-time USD 25 registration fee). You need to link payments profile to verify your identity. You can create or select existed one. In the next screen, you need to verify your identity with ID (driving licence, passport, PAN card, Voter card). Finally, you can continue with app adding.
If you select an Organisation, make sure that you can provide DUNS number of your organisation. To continue with the enrolment, you will need to fill in your organisation’s details, as shown in the screenshot below. For instance, mention organisation type, size, contacts, website. You should pay registration development fee – too. Next, complete the ‘About you’ section explaining why you are registering for a Google Play Developer account. Finally, you can continue with app deploying.
Step 3: Set up your first app
Click ‘Create app’ to add app details (name, default language, type). As a type, select an ‘App’ option instead of game. You can make your app free or download or paid.
